Prof. Dr. Sarani Zakaria is currently the Director at The UKM Graduate Centre, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Prof Zakaria has published her research finding in more than180 research articles (>70 in3 Q1) in the international and local journals, more than 150 conference proceeding papers, 15 Chapters in books and 5 books. She has filed thirteen (13) patents/utility in Malaysia (MyIPO) and three (3) international (PCT). She possesses h-index of 29 (Scopus) 34 (Google Scholar). She was the Chief-in-Editor for Sains Malaysiana since 2013 until 2018. Prof Zakaria is an expert in utilising bio-resources lignocellulosic materials. Prof Zakaria has received more than RM12.5 Million research funding as project leader and key researcher from local and international agencies and industries; total of 113 research/mobility projects in which 54 projects as project leader. Prof Zakaria was the Malaysian coordinator appointed by ERASMUS MUNDUS ALFABET program worth €3,007,075 with collaboration of 7 EU and 11 Asian universities (2014-2018). She also secures a consortium research grant, Erasmus Grant Making 4.0 worth €947,450,000 (2019-2022). Prof Zakaria was awarded the Venus International Women Award 2017 and various prestigious research fellowships. She is currently a panel for the Ministry of Education (MOHE) research grant evaluator: FRGS, ERGS, TRGS, PRGS, PPRN. |

Prof. Dr. Norzaidi Haji Mohd Daud, is currently the Director of UiTM Press, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). For his services to the nation, he has been awarded the Darjah Johan Negeri (DJN) by his Excellency Tun Dato’ Seri Utama (Dr.) Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Abbas, Penang, 2020. He is appointed as Board of Trustees, Yayasan Inovasi Malaysia/Foundation of Innovation, Malaysia, Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) by YB Khairy Jamaludin, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Malaysia, June 2020-June 2022. Refereed He has published 113 journal articles in ISI-WOS/WOK, SCOPUS. ERA, Cabell, CIJ etc. His book “Petua Lulus PhD Dalam Masa 3 Tahun” just became No.1 Bestseller book this year and it was the No. 1 top product in Shoopee. He won 86 Invention and Innovation Medals and 3 Best Paper Awards in Germany (2008), Czech Republic, (2009) and Malaysia (2016). As a Best Speaker (2013), he has been keynote speaker for 13 conferences and delivered speech in more than 300 events (workshop, seminar, local & international events etc). He is Visiting Professor and Adjunct Professor of few local and international universities since 2018 until present. |

Prof. Dr. Chia Chin Hua currently a Professor in the Materials Science Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). He is currently the Head of Materials Science Program, UKM. He has started his career as Senior Lecturer at the Materials Science Program, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2008. He was promoted to Associate Professor and Professor in 2013 and 2021, respectively. His research focuses on metallic nanomaterials syntheses, with a particular emphasis on the structure control to tailor the properties of the materials in determining their performances for different applications, including wastewater treatment, supercapacitor, and hydrogen production. He has published 192 peer-reviewed articles, 4 books, 5 book chapters. He has been invited to present keynote and invited talks in more than 20 national and international conferences. His latest H-index is 33 (Scopus) with 3287 total citation number. He has obtained the UKM Young Scientist Award and Malaysian Solid State Science and Technology (MASS) in 2012 and 2014, respectively. Chia also received the Distinguished Lectureship Award by the Chemical Society of Japan (CSJ) in 2017. |
